Yaron Meyer (b. 1991, Jerusalem) is a glass artist working between London, Israel, and the USA. He is inspired by the complexity of nature and human relations within and mediated by it. His glass Sculptures & Installations are a manifestation of this that challenges context, scale, colour and use.
Completed his BFA at Bezalel Academy of Art and Design (2018). While studying he won an excellence award to attend the Pilchuck glass school for a summer course (2016) and studied as an exchange student in Massachusetts College of Art and Design (2016).
After graduating from Bezalel academy Yaron sold his grad project to the Israeli Aquarium as a public installation. For three years Yaron has designed and created public installations for hotels, municipalities and private clients.
On 2021 He received the prestigious Clore- Bezalel scholarship for higher studies at the Royal College of Art, Yaron just graduated from his studies at the RCA and working for private bespoke glass pieces and his new glass collection combining Glass blowing and flame-working techniques.
Yaron's primary artistic medium is glass, although through his previous work as a designer, he also works with metal & wood.
Yaron's main passions are large scale installations and art installation.
He welcomes discussions with galleries, hotels, public buildings & architects, commercial and private clients and is excited to work for commission as well as direct sale.
